Final Submission Exp2

Meeting Point
I try to combine two ideas of grid line from the Noble lab as well the idea of gravity from the second lab. So, it ended up with the shape in the image. I try to apply one of the texture i have created to the room.

Noble Lab
Inspirited from the quotation of "If I have a thousand ideas and only one turns out to be good, I am satisfied." I try to explore the word "thousand" through the use of number of line through out the design, creating one unity Lab. The experiment take place in quite isolated room in the corner, as my thinking of Noble as a dynamite creator, so he will need a place which is secure and quite isolated, that the experiment do not disturb the surrounding, as well the grid lines may also give the sense of secure and strong interior.

Cousteau Lab
Inspirited from the quotation of "From birth, man carries the weight of gravity on his shoulders. He is bolted to earth. But man has only to sink beneath the surface and he is free." The Design is focusing to explore the word "gravity" and "free". From the understanding of gravity as a stress, I try to created the main experiment hall having a quite low roof and having the huge bar of cube in the top of it giving the sense of stress or force. In contrast, out of main experiment hall, I created a simple room with the higher ceiling to express the sense of freedom.

The view of exterior
I try to make the exterior of Noble lab in the simple shape of cube and having the number of layer to bring the sense of strong building.
